Telegram bot - your customer manager 24/7

For a salon, repair shop, or delivery service, a busy phone line often means a lost booking. A Telegram bot covers the first line: it takes the request, collects the details, and writes them to your database — around the clock, without “we forgot to note it down.”

Below is a practical blueprint for a digital admin for local business, and what to ship first.

Where a bot beats a human on the first line

People still handle tricky sales and exceptions. The bot owns the repetitive work:

  • accept a booking or order at any hour;
  • collect required fields (service, time, contacts, notes);
  • confirm to the customer and notify the manager;
  • send visit or delivery reminders on time.

It can run dozens of chats in parallel. Staff step in only when a human decision is needed.

Beauty salons and appointment booking

The client picks a service and specialist, sees open slots, and books. The bot asks for a name and phone, stores the appointment, and reminds them a day and two hours before.

Cancel and reschedule in the bot so the slot frees immediately — no call to the front desk. More on booking and retention: salon bot guide and client booking bot.

Auto service and richer intake

A garage needs more than a time slot: make, year, VIN, symptoms. The bot walks through those fields, shows job types (tires, oil, diagnostics), and available bays.

The technician gets a fact sheet instead of “something is noisy.” Less phone time, fewer wrong bookings.

Delivery and order status

Customers place an order in chat or a Mini App, track status (“accepted”, “preparing”, “on the way”), and update the address without calling again.

Support volume for “where is my order?” drops. Food delivery automation is covered in the delivery bot post.

Minimum feature set to launch

  1. Service/category menu so clients are not forced into free text.
  2. Booking or order with confirmation — plus a copy to the manager.
  3. Reminders to cut no-shows.
  4. “Talk to a person” button for escalation in business hours.
  5. Simple admin chat — today’s list, cancel, mark done.

Metrics that show whether it works

Track before and after launch:

  • share of bookings/orders without a phone call;
  • time to first response on a new inquiry;
  • no-show rate after reminders;
  • share of chats that escalate to a human.

If escalations stay above ~30%, simplify the menu or add FAQ buttons. If no-shows do not drop, move reminders closer to the visit and add a “I’ll come / can’t make it” confirm.

Roll out without chaos

Do not replace the whole office on day one. Launch one flow (booking or order), measure share of requests without a call and cancel rate, then add payments, loyalty, or QR deep links at the venue.
